Emelin lives with her mother, an older brother, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Her father is not present, and her mother launders other people’s clothes to earn a living. At home, Emelin helps with household chores, including sweeping, mopping, and doing laundry by hand. Her favorite subject is artistic expression, her favorite color is red, and her favorite activity is soccer. She is outgoing and talkative. Her dream is to one day become a teacher.
